Our club meets on the 2nd & 4th Monday’s @ noon @ The Cannery Kitchen. We will honor our Lion Ann Gaskamp with Memorial to her church in Gay Hill. We collected used eyeglasses & magazines for the BSSLC. Members donated 42 items of food for the Faith Mission pantry. Our raffle about a month away, so be on the lookout for our members to reach out. Proceeds will benefit the Washington County Senior Center & Texas Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center. They’re only $10 apiece, do not have to be present to win, over 50 items listed on the ticket.

Brenham Wildflowers- Thank You for trusting the Ladies Lions to deliver your beautiful bouquets, chocolates & candles throughout the county. Mother’s Day is very special & we are proud to assist you with these deliveries. Also, including those to Churches, Funeral Home‘s, as well as for special occasions. Maifest weekend makes traveling the city exciting. The Ladies Lions were glad to be of assistance.

The club guest speaker from Sealy Lions Club had a fantastic program on the history of the Houston Astros, from even before the C**t 45s. Robert donated his speakers fee to the Cannery Kitchen. If you’re looking for a speaker that is entertaining, this is your guy. We collected 19 items of food for the food pantry at Faith Mission. We collected: plastic lids, eyeglasses, magazines, as well as Change Hunger donations. We approved a scholarship for a young ladies eyeglasses. We have raffle tickets for sale for $10, over 50 prizes on the ticket, top prize is $1,000 Visa gift card. See any of our 54 members. We draw June 19 at Pioneer Smokehouse and no, you don’t have to be present to win.
Thank you to our club supporter Charlie Canatella for donating $39 in recycled cans toward our hunger Project .

Day 4- Vision is our Vision. Shipping used eyeglasses to Midland to Texas Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center. We needed 4 days of boxing up shipments. Friday was 183 pair of glasses,46 sunglasses, 14 boxes of contacts, 50 pair for spare parts = 293 pairs total.
April our club shipped : 698 pair of glasses, 155 pair sunglasses, 14 box of contacts & 50 pair of broken eyeglasses. Total: 917 items

Day 3- Vision is our Vision. Shipping used eyeglasses to Midland to Texas Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center. Will need three+ days of boxing up shipments. Wednesday was 189 pair of glasses and 28 sunglasses = 217 pair.
