Group Acorde is a performance company formed by two contemporary dancers; Roberta Paixao Cortes and Lindsey McGill, and two improvisational musicians; Thomas Helton and Seth Paynter. The Chicago-based Third Coast Percussion made their Carnegie debut Friday night in the in-the-round setting in Zankel Hall. TCP is a fine group bringing modern and contemporary music to listeners, so this was immediately a notable occasion.
