This championship event represents not only an outstanding training and competitive experience on an international level, but an incredible cultural exchange opportunity as well. During the inaugural season, in the winter of 2010, the US All-Stars hosted players and coaches from the Swarco Raiders of Innsbruck, Austria, welcoming them into the team members homes and treating them to visits to favorite Houston landmarks (highlights included the Battleship Texas and Space Center Houston). The Raiffeisen Vikings returned the favor in the spring of 2011 by hosting the Spring Branch Patriots in Vienna, Austria and treating the Patriots to numerous cultural experiences and visits to local sites. This year, the WYAFA Texans will have the opportunity to visit a number of cultural landmarks in Paris, including; Tour Eiffel, Musée du Louvres, and Château de Versailles, to name a few.
