Tee Carter and I just want to give our kids everything (experiences) that we didn’t have growing up. Another bucket list item: take the kids to a MLB baseball game. Since the Yankees were in town and because Judge Andrew A. Wright said black people do attend Astros’ games (I counted 6 not including us 😂🤣😆) I was like perfect.
1. The kids and I loved it! We saw home runs. We saw base stealing. And foul ball came out way.
2. Even better, we (the Astros) were down 5 runs in the 7th inning and I was like let’s go and beat the crown. B said, “No. We have to stay until the end and support them”. Well, B willed her Astros to a rally and we saw a marvelous ending and an Astros’ come from behind win! B is so Houston 🤟🏾🤟🏾🤟🏾!
3. THE WAVE WENT AROUND THE ENTIRE STADIUM 5 TIMES (ended after a Yankee home run)!!!
*After the game, B said, “we should help other kids to going and seeing an Astros’ game”.
**So we got 6 tickets (2 tickets to 3 separate games) to give to a parent/child combo who can reply to this post with their best Astros picture. On Tuesday, the kids will choose the best picture and alert the winning families accordingly (June 14, 2021). ***each ticket has a $15 food credit.***
