All For One and One For All

All For One and One For All All for One and One for All was established in 2013 as a 501 (c) Charity Organization delivering aid We decided to take ACTION by starting here!

To be HOMELESS is a way of life that has touched many people, personally. We all at some point, may have known someone who had a brother, sister, mother or father who were HOMELESS. So we started out by providing a few basic food packages but then quickly realized that feeding the HOMELESS is restricted in many cities all across America. This only ignited us to take it up to another level, to befr

iend the HOMELESS and to find out what would it take to make their lives easier. The Questions we asked each other were, how can we generate awareness and support about this daily struggle these folks were dealing with? Together, with the help of friends, neighbors and relatives, we exercised shared values, “compassion for others”. With a unified effort we have made tremendous strides and hope to continue this mission of eliminating HOMELESSNESS. To continue this journey will require additional help and support and that is why we’ve decided to make our efforts public.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic we are not able to pass out hygiene packs to our homeless community personally however, we are still providing donations to The Beacon Houston.

Here are the pictures from last Saturdays Helping the Homeless event. It was a great event and hope to see everyone at the April one too.

We at All For One and One For All want to thank the great group of veteran volunteers that came out to our March Helping the Homeless Event last Saturday. Though small, everyone jumped on the line and put out over 150 hygiene kits together for our trip to the Beacon. Once there, we were able to hand out all our kits and no one was turned away, it was a great success for everyone. Thank you all and hope to see everyone for our April Event in a few weeks.

Here are the photos from our 2018 Sleeping bag event last Saturday, we have a great group of volunteers who always come out and do the very best for the homeless of Houston every single month.

We at All For One and One For All want to thank everyone who came out on a sunny Saturday and give their time to helping the homeless on our annual Sleeping bag event. The day started at This is it soul food putting together the hygiene kits and taking in the sleeping bag donations and everyone did a great job. After all the kits were completed, we loaded up and headed for the Beacon where they were waiting for us. The line stated as soon as we unloaded and most everyone was able to get a bag and a kit. Our volunteers are the best. We headed back to the church and enjoyed a lunch by Panera Bread and talked until it was time to go. Thank You All for making this a great Sleeping Bag Event.

Please join us in this cause to provide sleeping bags for the homeless.

Season Greetings, On a daily average, there are at least 6,000 people living on the streets of Houston and its surrounding neighborhoods. The majority of these people are without shelter or even a warm place to sleep and winter is quickly approaching….. However, for those individuals who aren’t....

Greetings!

AF11FA family would like to Thank all of our volunteers for their continuous efforts and support every month as we could not provide hygiene packs to our homeless community without you!

The homeless event for October and November *have been cancelled* so that the AF11FA family can prepare for our Big Annual Sleeping Bag Event that will be held in December 2018. We will provide additional information in the upcoming week on how you can assist us in making our end of the year sleeping bag event a huge success!

Thank you!

All For One and One For All

Hello All, here are the photos from Saturdays Helping the Homeless June event. We can't thank you All for sharing your Saturday with us and helping to make it a great event. Hope everyone can make it to the upcoming July event.

All for One and One for All was established in 2013 as a 501 (c) Charity Organization delivering aid in the form of comfort items to Houston's homeless.

07/03/2018

We at All For One and One For All are very thankful for All the wonderful volunteers who took time out of their Saturday to Join our June event. We had a great group of veterans and a few new faces to make up the event. We had such a good time at the meet and greet, we got off to a late start, but everyone kicked it into gear and got 150+ kits put together in a short time. After meeting up at the church, we All headed out to the Beacon. Their AC was out, but they still had an overflow capacity of homeless seeking shelter form the hot Houston sun. The need is always great in the summer and with the city cracking down on the overpasses, and tent shelters, there's not a lot of places left for them to go. Hope to see everyone at the July Event. All For One and One for All.

Here are the pictures from Saturdays May Helping the Homeless event. Once again, Thank You All for spending your Saturday morning with us on this holiday weekend. Your donations of time and money means a lot to us.

We at All For One and One For All would like to give a huge Thank You to Everyone that came and made our May Helping the Homeless Event a great success, even if it was only for a few minutes. We had a beautiful Saturday for the event and saw a lot of veterans and a few new faces who heard about us from Facebook. We had our morning breakfast meet and greet with some great food from This is it Soul Food in 3rd ward. Once the eating was done, time to breakout the supplies and get the lines going. Thanks to everyone that worked hard and got approx 150 kits together to distribute to the homeless. Packed up the kits and headed to the Beacon. Unfortunately the Beacon was packed with people needing help and we ran out of kits way to early. Thanks to Ronald and his staff for making it another successful trip. Please note, the idiot cameraman (me) had the wrong settings on his camera, so some pictures are more blurry than they have been in the past, sorry. Once again, Thank you All for the hard work you put in to our event. All For One and One For All.

Dear Friends and followers, I know this is long, but please read to the end -

It has recently come to our attention that some of you are not getting the event page notification, nor the home page notifications when we share the events out. Also some are reporting the week before our events, the reminder notification in their News Feed is also not showing up. This appears to be intermittently happening to some, but not to everyone. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working with Facebook support on the issue. However, in the meantime, we will be implementing a few new things to help you all get the message and the opportunity to come to our monthly Events to support Houston's Helping the Homeless.

First and most importantly, except for the holidays of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, every event of the year will happen on the Last Saturday of the month, and it never changes, except in the rare weather situation, such as the weekend Harvey hit. In that situation, a post will be made to the home page with the necessary information. A separate post with all the dates, including the holiday schedule will be coming within the hour. Please use this list to input all the dates into your phone's calendar and set up a separate reminder schedule in your phone or computer.

Second, please put us high in your news feed. To do that, go to our home page. The second button below our photo should be labeled “Following”. Hover or click on it (depending on your browser) and a window comes up. Go to the heading “In your News Feed” and go to the “See First” and click on it. You should now see a check mark next to it, and you are all done. Please note we will not spam you, we rarely post more than a few times a month as reminders and anything important such as this notice. (we hate spam too)

Thirdly, having just said that, we will add 1 more reminder each month. The first week of every month, we create a separate reminder event to accompany the yearly one. Two weeks prior to the event, we will re-share it to the home page along with doing it a second time the week of the event. We are trying to keep everyone informed, but not spam you.

We All enjoy the camaraderie, the sense of belonging, seeing old friends and making new friends every month while creating the Food and Hygiene kits we hand out at The Beacon. Also when we have enough people, going on the long run to find the people in the back roads, in the doorways and under the elevated who don’t feel comfortable in the shelters. We welcome everyone to be a part of it, either at the events or donating to our cause so we can fund more kits and the yearly Sleeping Bag Run in December. As I always say, hope to see you All there.

All For One and One For All.

Here are the pics from last Saturdays Helping the Homeless event for February. We want to say Thank You to all the great veteran Volunteers that came out with us, you All make this happen every month.

We at All For One and One For All want to thank the small but dedicated group of volunteers that came out on a cloudy Saturday morning for our Helping the Homeless event, it was a great time for the veterans. Cause it was a small group we went to the Beacon and passed out 100 hygiene and snack to the Homeless at the center. We hope to have enough during March to do the under passes and parks. All for One and One for All.

Once we all caught up from the Holidays, it was time to get it all going. Once all the kits were completed, we headed off to the Beacon to hand out all our kits. Once we got back to the church parking lot, it really started raining, so we had to cut things short.
