Special Movie Screening/Fundraiser of the new police documentary, "Fallen".

Screenings for a new documentary showing the impact of police fatalities on those left behind will be showing on July 26th. Proceeds from the tickets will go to the Houston Police Foundation and Assist the Officer, Inc.​ Go to the links below to get your tickets.

It's time to get on your City of Houston ESS portal and pick which plans you want for the city's Open Enrollment.

Yes, you do have to elect to keep your coverage from last year, even if you aren't changing anything. You also have to opt in to dental or vision if you want those plans with the city.

The City of Houston no longer has a contract with their current accident and critical illness provider. Texas Police Trust can offer you a better policy that is built for you. You can get our accident policy for less than a dollar a day with an additional $1,000 a month in disability for on or off duty injuries.
Keep in mind the City is also changing dental carriers. If you are unsure of going with a carrier that is unfamiliar to you come see what we can offer you. You protect the City. Let us protect you.

Next Friday, there will be a BBQ fundraiser for senior police officer Jorge Gomez. Officer Gomez is battling colon and liver cancer and he and his family would appreciate your support. If you can't make the benefit on the 30th, you're welcome to donate online or at the HPOU building. All donations will go directly to his family.

Flu Clinic

City of Houston will have a free flu shot clinic at 1600 State St., 4th floor on October 22. This will be for HPOU members only. Members' spouses and children can get their free flu shot at a Kelsey-Seybold clinic.

The HPOU is excited to announce that our 4th annual HPOU Family Picnic will be Saturday November 14th at the Houston Farm and Ranch Club.
