Hey everyone!
For those who may not know me, I am Samantha De Leon, the new Secretary General of UHMUN! Apologizes for the lack of updates over the summer, but now we are back and ready to get into action!
I have some exciting news to share. We have SIX (yes, 6!) board officer openings for the Fall 2017 semester. Here are the positions, their descriptions, and commitment level. More details on each are included in the application itself!
--Chief of Staff: Record all proceedings and meetings, create weekly agenda, writes newsletter, reserves all locations and equipment (15 hours / week)
--USG of Finance: Collect all fees and dues, develop fundraising activities, maintain financial records, create budget plan (10 hours / week)
--USG of Membership: Plan and direct recruitment events, hosts biweekly/monthly educational workshops and activities, plans end of the year banquet (10 hours / week)
--USG of Public Relations: Photographer of the club, maintain all social medias, create flyers and shirts, create marketing plan and scrapbook (15 hours / week)
--USG of External Affairs: Create community service activities and philanthropy activities, record volunteer hours, plan GC conference (10 hours / week)
--Conference Coordinators: Plan, organize and strategize for each conference, provide a risk management seminar, ensure member and guest safety (10 hours / week)
