The City of Sadler completed its street reconstruction project funded by a 2020 CDBG grant from the Texas Department of Agriculture in the amount of $265,000.

The City of Brownwood utilized its $350,000 DRP award to pave new sidewalks, install ADA-accessible ramps, and install street lights downtown. Public Management, Inc. is proud to have helped Brownwood develop a more vibrant and sustainable community.
The Houston-Galveston Area Council will be holding a public planning meeting on February 3rd to discuss the Method of Distribution of approximately $488 million in CDBG-MIT funds. The Texas Division of Emergency Management will be responsible for distributing Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund allocations of the American Rescue Plan to Non-entitlement units of local government. Make sure your city is registered in TDEM's Grant Management System and submits all relevant documentation before August 2, 2021 to ensure you receive your allocation.
Project Update:
The City of Stephenville, Texas was awarded a contract from the Texas General Land Office to address severe flooding throughout the city. Construction is well underway, and the city is using their nearly $2 million grant to replace storm sewer culverts and install concrete flumes, curbs, gutters, storm drain inlets, and storm drainage pipe in the Groesbeck Neighborhood.
The Texas General Land Office's CDBG-MIT competition was a historic funding opportunity for communities devastated by unprecedented flooding. Projects funded through this competition will benefit Texans across the state in efforts to recover and prepare for future disasters. The U.S. Department of the Treasury released guidance yesterday addressing documentation non-entitlement units (NEU) of local government (i.e. cities with populations less than 50,000 people) need in order to request their American Rescue Plan allocation from the state. It is important communities prepare these documents prior to requesting funds to ensure prompt delivery of allocations.

The City of Ballinger has received their new fire truck!!
The Ballinger Fire Department by way of delivery by Steele Fire Apparatus LLC on 3/31/2020 received , inspected , and accepted the type 5 2019 F550 truck . All request , Specs, requirements, warranties and certifications were met and or exceeded.
The purchase was funded by the FAST program.
The City of Granbury is rehabilitating one of their lift stations. Thanks in part to a $245,000 grant from TDA. Looks like progress.
The City of Stephenville received a $17,000,000 loan to complete the Eastside Sewer project. Construction of the new Lift Station is progressing well. Walls are almost complete.
The City of Ballinger received a $500,000 FAST grant to purchase two new fire trucks. The City inspected the first, a Type 5 truck, on Monday.
Telescoping the sewer lines in Anahuac has begun. Just the first step to rehabilitating the whole sewer line system.

The City of Celeste is getting their sewer improvement project going.

The City of Anahuac Texas Water Development Board lift station rehab project is underway.
The City of Stephenville has begun construction of a new lift station at the wastewater treatment plant as part of the Eastside Sewer Project. This project is being primarily funded by the CWSRF fund of the Texas Water Development Board. Once complete, this project will improve the sewer collection on the east and north sides of Stephenville and allow the City to accommodate future growth.
The nice weather has helped the Chambers County Hurricane Ike Disaster Recovery, RWJ Airport Drainage Improvements to make good headway.
