" 𝗕𝗢𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗙𝗧 𝗜𝗡𝗩𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗦 𝗧𝗢 $𝟯𝟬𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 & 𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧
In July, 2026, the 𝗚𝘂𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 was asked to assist the 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 in locating a vehicle used to steal a 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝟑𝟏 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐭 from True North Marine in Galveston County.
Through surveillance footage, 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 technology, and extensive investigative work, detectives identified the suspect vehicle and uncovered connections to multiple boat and trailer thefts.
On August 24, 2026 detectives executed a 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 and recovered:
𝟮 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝘁𝘀
𝟯 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀
𝟭 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲-𝗯𝘆-𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲
𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲: $𝟯𝟬𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬
The investigation also uncovered multiple license plates, GPS devices, and boat titles not belonging to the suspect.
With assistance from multiple law enforcement agencies including 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗳’𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲and the 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝘂𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, detectives located and arrested 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘇, 𝟮𝟬, of Sugar Land.
𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘇 was subsequently charged with 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 ≥$𝟭𝟱𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗯𝘂𝘁 < $𝟯𝟬𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 and with a $100,000 bond.
The investigation remains active.

Outstanding investigative work by everyone involved in bringing this case together and recovering stolen property valued at approximately $300,000. "

WE’RE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE OUR 2026 FUNDRAISING PARTNER!

This year, the Clear Lake Shores Police Department is proud to team up with Fight For Frontline Foundation for our 2026 Fall Festival!

This year’s festival will focus on something that deserves more attention, more conversation, and more support: mental health awareness and su***de prevention.

Our first responders, veterans, service members, and their families carry a lot. Sometimes the people who spend their lives helping others are the ones who need someone to remind them that they don’t have to carry it alone.

Through this year’s festival, we hope to raise funds and, most importantly, bring awareness to mental health, break the stigma surrounding asking for help, and remind our community that it’s okay to not be okay.

The Fight for Frontline Foundation is dedicated to supporting those who serve and protect our communities, and we are honored to stand alongside them in this fight.

We are asking attendees to make a donation when receiving their entry band, which will give them access to all of the festival activities. There is NO set donation amount. Give what you would like and what you are able to give. Whether it’s $1, $5, $20, or more, every donation helps.

And most importantly, we want everyone to be able to come out and enjoy the day. If you are unable to donate, please don’t let that keep you from joining us. We want this to be a day where our community can come together, have fun, support one another, and make a difference. Stronger people. Stronger communities.

We’re officially looking for vendors for this year’s festival.
Last year’s was such an incredible success that we’ve had to move to a larger location to accommodate everyone. What a blessing.

This is a friendly reminder that the boat ramp is closed until further notice.

Barricades have been placed to secure the area, and we ask that they not be moved. Unauthorized entry into the closed area is prohibited. Any violation may result in a fine, and the vehicle and/or trailer may be towed at the owner’s expense.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to maintain safety in this area.

Parents, Guardians, and Residents,

This post is to address the increasing number of juveniles operating electric scooters, mini bikes and golf carts on public streets, sidewalks, and other areas where their use is not permitted.

Please be advised that operating electric scooters, mini bikes and golf carts in violation of The Texas Transportation code creates a serious safety hazard for riders, pedestrians, and motorists. These devices are not toys and, when operated improperly or unlawfully, can result in severe injury or property damage.

Effective immediately, enforcement actions will be taken. Riders found operating electric scooters, mini bikes and golf carts in violation of the law will be issued citations. In addition, the scooter, mini bike and golf cart may be towed and impounded at the owner’s expense.

Parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to speak with their children about the legal requirements and safety concerns associated with these devices. Ultimately, parents and guardians may be held responsible for fines, towing fees, and related costs.

Our goal is not punitive enforcement, but the safety of our community—especially our youth. Your cooperation in addressing this matter is greatly appreciated.

⚠️Public Service Announcement⚠️

On December 18, 2025, the boat ramp will close at 4:00 p.m. Barricades will be installed to restrict access to the boat ramp and adjacent parking areas.

Any displacement, removal, or bypassing of barricades to gain entry is strictly prohibited. Vehicles and/or trailers found in violation will be subject to citation and towing at the owner’s expense.

The boat ramp will reopen for public use on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.

We appreciate your cooperation as we work to maintain public safety and orderly operations.
