Precinct 1 crews will begin the rebuild process of Swanner Road starting the afternoon of Monday, August 24, and will continue through Wednesday, August 26. During this time, please ensure that no vehicles or objects are parked alongside the road that would delay or block the workers from completing the work. This also prevents any personal property from being damaged from the road construction equipment.

Crews will apply a chip seal to the road the following week of August 31.

Change of plans: Beginning Tuesday, August 11, Precinct 1 crews will begin rebuilding Hughes Street and W. Davis Street (marked in RED) in the City of Howe, Texas through an Interlocal Agreement passed earlier this year. We will also be replacing a culvert on Hughes St. between E. Davis and E. Duke.

The crews will be working to grind and set the roads this week followed by a chip seal application next week.

Please use alternate routes if you travel these roads. If you live on these roads, you will still be able to access the road.

Please use caution when passing the working crews for their safety and yours. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you in advance for you patience as we complete these projects.
