Today, the Howell Township Police Department had the pleasure of participating in and hosting some incredible local students for Student Government Day!

We are always proud to partner with our local schools to inspire the next generation of leaders. Who knows—you might just be looking at a future Howell Police Officer in these photos! We even had a visit from our furry friend, K9 Tank!

Thank you to all the students, teachers, and staff who made today such a success. The future of Howell is definitely in good hands! 👮‍♂️👵🚓

Today, the Howell Township Police Department joins our community and the nation in observing Memorial Day.

For our Howell Police family, this remembrance is deeply personal. Today and every day, we hold in our hearts U.S. Army Lieutenant Dennis W. Zilinski II, who was killed in action in Iraq in 2005. Dennis is the brother of our very own Patrolman Matt Zilinski.

As you spend time with loved ones today, please join us in honoring all men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice serving our great country. We enjoy the freedoms we have today because of those heroes! 🇺🇸
