Thanks to everyone who helped make the 2016 CASA Angel Tree a success!

Thinking ahead to next year, it would be great if we could collect enough Christmas cards to use as the "Angel Ornaments". The front would be decorative and the blank back could be used for the necessary info..... child's name, age and needs, etc.

If you have any Christmas cards that you would like to recycle for a good cause, please drop them off at the Fire Station located at 150 N. Oakridge Drive, Hudson Oaks. 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

Don't forget to change your smoke detector batteries as you change your clocks.

To show our support of law enforcement officers everywhere, Gene Smithwick, the Chaplain for Hudson Oaks Fire Rescue and Weatherford Fire Department has organized a prayer vigil tonight at 6pm. It will be held at Gene Voyles Park, located near City Hall, 210 N. Hudson Oaks (formerly Lakeshore) in Hudson Oaks. The vigil will last about 30 minutes, and the public, as well as local first responders are invited to attend.
Please keep the Dallas Police Department and the families of the slain and injured officers in your thoughts and prayers.

Don't forget to come to our Pushback event this evening from 6-7PM at the Hudson Oaks Public Safety Building. We will be celebrating the arrival of our new fire truck with hotdogs and snacks. Please join us!

Our pushback ceremony will be Wednesday, April 27th from 6-7pm. Sorry for any confusion.
