A great day diving into STEM pathways for some of our students today! They attended the MassHire STEM Expo at Solomon Pond Mall to talk real-world careers with regional professionals and programs and got hands on work with tech used in the industries.

Big thanks to MassHire Metro South/West and Metro South/West Youth Connections for providing this opportunity!

One of our students was lucky enough to be one of the raffle winners!

Some of our seniors made the most of PSAT Day with a trip to Merrimack College and explored what they have to offer. It was a wonderful day to spend at Merrimack!

The campus guide shared that our group stood out as one of the best tours they’ve ever led, thanks to the endless great questions and high energy from start to finish. Way to represent Hudson!

Welcoming the HHS Class of 2031!

Today was our annual Fly-Up Day, and we had a blast hosting our rising 8th graders at the high school!

The future Hawks started their morning hearing from an incredible panel of our current HHS students, who shared all the amazing opportunities waiting for them next year—from clubs and competitive sports to exciting elective classes and student leadership.

After the panel, our high school students led the 8th graders on a full tour of the building, giving them an insider’s look at their new home for the next four years. It was a fantastic glimpse into their upcoming high school careers.

We are so excited to welcome you all in the fall. Get ready, incoming 8 —your high school journey is just getting started!

We are incredibly proud of our HHS Seniors who recently completed their Senior Internships!

This program gives our students invaluable, hands-on experience before they even cross the graduation stage. We are immensely grateful to the local community partners who opened their doors, shared their expertise, and mentored our students this year.

A huge thank you to:

- Farley Elementary School Nursing
- Forest Ave Elementary School Nursing
- Mulready Elementary School Nursing
- Hudson Light and Power
- Marlborough District Court
- McGovern Auto Body
- Precision Auto Detailing
- ReMax A Team
- MetroWest Youth Connections

Because of these partnerships, several seniors have already secured continued employment, a formal apprenticeship, or solidified their interests in future plans.

Congratulations to our senior interns. You represented HHS beautifully, and your futures are incredibly bright! 🎓💪

Today, our Junior students stepped out of the classroom and into the "Real World" at our annual Reality Fair!

Each student was randomly assigned a career, a starting salary, and a (sometimes stressful!) credit score. They then had to navigate the "Game of Life," meeting with local community vendors to budget for:

- Housing & Utilities
- Car payments & Insurance
- Groceries..and all the unexpected curveballs life throws your way!

It was a day filled with "Wait, how much does it cost to live on my own?!" and "I think I’ll stick to the cheaper option for now." 😅

A huge thank you to our amazing community partners for helping our students practice the ultimate life skill: Budgeting! Our Hawks are leaving a little more "life-ready" (and maybe a little more appreciative of their parents' bills!) today.
