Note: Clerk Gibler wants to apologize because she misworded the August newsletter about the meeting of life flight that was on August 12th. It was just informative. Also, she didn't think it was a real meeting since it was mainly for the fire department and not the board.

I was informed that some fish at the pond has died. I have called the Conservation Department in Sedalia. They informed me it is natural. The reason that the fish have died was because of the heat and the decrease amount of oxygen in the pond. The chemicals that the board purchased for the lily pads do not kill the fish per the Guier and the Conservation Department. However, the lily pads dying does take oxygen out of the pond. If anyone has any questions about this they can call the Conservation Department in Sedalia at 660-530-5500.
