"Oklahoma Democrats CELEBRATE Reversal of Walters-Era Bible Mandate"

What a choice of words it is to say you celebrate this! "Hallelujah"... However one feels about a Bible being available in the classroom and the reversal of Ryan Walters plan, the attitudes expressed in this press release from Oklahoma Democrats are pathetic.

Derek Porter is one of the Republican candidates running for Oklahoma House District 19 next year, and he will be speaking at our October meeting. If you have any questions for him regarding his plans and his candidacy, he will take questions afterwards.

We hope to see you all at our next meeting on Thursday, 10/23 @ 5:30 PM at the Choctaw County Library.

Jake A Merrick is running for Oklahoma Governor and spoke to our group in June, and I know many were enthusiastic for his candidacy. If you'd like to attend this event this Saturday @ 5:00 PM, you can find the details in the event post. We addressed this act of forgiveness tonight in our meeting. The words of Erika Kirk are not only helping herself; they are allowing others to heal in their own circumstances.

Our friends at the McCurtain County Republicans will be hosting Cindy Byrd for Lt Governor Tuesday, September 23rd, at their regular evening meeting in Broken Bow. Set your calendars if you'd like to attend!

State Auditor Cindy Byrd will be coming to speak this month on Tuesday September 23rd at 6:30 pm at the Broken Bow Public Library.

To our Choctaw County GOP,

Given the events of today with what transpired in Utah and the assassination of Charlie Kirk, we need to pray for this nation at all levels. We need to pray for his wife, his children, his organization, and the mission he carried out to bring a young generation to conservatism and Jesus. There is no way of knowing what could follow in the days to come, but we need to commit to be people of prayer about this and all things. Also, especially, be in prayer for our President and his team, for them to speak Godly wisdom to the nation they have been entrusted to lead.
