Yesterday we had the privilege to participate in Fire Prevention day at HBE. We joined Cuddebackville, Sparrowbush and Westbrookville fire departments. It was a great day spent with the students and staff! Thank you to HBE for inviting all of us to to come out.

🚒 Huguenot Fire Company Training Night 🚒

Last night, the Huguenot Fire Company had the opportunity to conduct live-fire training evolutions, focusing on search operations and handline advancement.

We would like to extend a sincere thank-you to our mutual aid partners, Westbrookville Fire Company and Cuddebackville Fire Department, for joining us and participating in these valuable training exercises.

Training together helps strengthen our skills, teamwork, and coordination so we can better serve and protect our communities when it matters most.

This past Tuesday we completed a drill with the Sparrowbush fire department. The drill was for water supply operations. It involved feeding water to Sparrowbush Engine 844 using a dual pond setup to keep flowing water. We had our Tankers 812 and 813 shuttling water from Number 2 beach where Sparrowbush Tanker 845 was filling the tankers. Sparrowbush Tanker 842 was also in rotation. It was good night spent refreshing our skills so were always ready when the tones go off. Thank you to Sparrowbush for inviting us out!

🇺🇸 25 Years Later — We Still Remember.

Today, 25 years later, we honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the brave first responders who ran toward danger to help others.

We remember the heroes, the families, and a nation that came together in the face of tragedy.

25 years have passed, but we will never forget. 🇺🇸❤️

You started here with us as a member, but have been around the fire service your whole life. Again buddy, congratulations to you and we wish you the best of luck on your future!

Today at 1613 hours we were dispatched to an odor of gas on Manor Lane. Engine 814 responded and assisted Cuddebackville units. Both departments checked for gas and CO readings in the house. There were no readings. Cuddebackville Cars 1&2 and Engine 803 were also on scene. Units were back in service at 1641 hours.

Last night for our weekly drill our interior members completed their annual bailout training. Thank you to the Port Jervis Fire Department for again allowing us to use their bailout simulator for this! We weren’t done there, after bailout we went to West End Beach to do some pump training on Engine 814 and our new Tanker 813. We relayed water back and forth to each truck with different drafting methods. We were also able to get 3 new drivers qualified on the new tanker.
