Race day is tomorrow!

We are excited to welcome runners, walkers, families, and the entire community to the Tunnel to Towers Hummelstown 5K Run & Walk.

The opening ceremony begins at 8:30 AM, followed by the Run/Walk at 9:03 AM.

PREFERRED PARKING AT LOWER DAUPHIN HIGH SCHOOL 201 SOUTH HANOVER STREET

For the safety of our race participants, no dogs or pets on the race course.

Even if you are not participating in the race, come out and be part of the day. There will be plenty for families and the community to enjoy, including food, music, patriotic face painting, the LD Book Bus, vehicle displays, free flags while they last, and more.

Come cheer on the participants, spend the morning with your neighbors, and help us honor the heroes we will never forget.

Reminder: Traffic Safety Notice for T2T 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, August 22

As we strive for safety and traffic flow during the upcoming T2T 5K Run/Walk on August 22, all are asked not to park on the street in the course route highlighted in red (below) from 8 AM to 11 AM. Consider parking outside the course route if travel is anticipated during that time.

The following roads may be affected:
South Water St, East & West Main St, South Union St, East & West High St, South Duke St, Pine St, Dogwood Dr, Redwood St, Willow St, South Landis St, and Short St

Attention: Parking on Saturday, August 22nd for Tunnel to Towers

Hummelstown Borough is excited to host Tunnel to Towers 5k run/walk on Saturday, August 22nd. Parking availability around Schaffner Park will be limited. The Lower Dauphin High School (201 S Hanover St) has graciously offered their parking lots for participants and observers. The school parking lots can be accessed from S Hanover St and N Water St.

Another great day for the Hummelstown community. Today, in conjunction with the Peyton Walker Foundation, we dedicated two more outdoor AED enclosures. These enclosures bring us to a total of five AED’s available in our parks and athletic fields.

Hummelstown is also a 4 Minute Community through the Avive AED program. Three residents have AED’s and can respond to cardiac emergencies within the borough.
