Lovely garden tour in Hyde Park Village. Thanks to all the participants and all the supporters of the Library for making this a great day and fundraiser. The flowers, the sculptures, the friends were all amazing. It was lovely to see so many people walking the village between gardens! And the afternoon tea was lovely!

The gardens of Hyde Park Village are blooming! Don’t miss the garden tour this Saturday July 26 from 10-2pm starting at the library for your registration materials. Ending at the library for tea and scones. Weather looks lovely as well. Tour IS walkable (Main Street, Prospect Street and Church Street). Hope to see you there supporting our wonderful library!

The Friends of Lanpher Memorial Library are having a basket raffle. The winner gets a brand new copy of “The Language of Flowers”, AND 2 tickets to each of Lamoille County Players next 3 shows! $1/ticket and $5 for 6 tickets.
You can also start bidding on the beautiful painting by Diane Szlachetka.
AND: Remember to get your tickets to the Village Garden Tour on Saturday July 26, 10-2. $20 now and $25 the day of.
Check in at the library any time between 10-2, get the map and garden information, then walk (or drive) to the beautiful gardens. Stop in at the Library for tea and treats at any time during your walk.

The Friends have two raffles/silent auction flower themed to go with our Garden Tour Fundraiser! What a deal on the raffle tickets for the amazing prize! And the Watercolour by local artist Diane Szlachetka is gorgeous and awaiting your bid! Don’t forget to sign up for the garden tour the 26th Saturday July.

For the month of July, at Hannaford Supermarkets in Morrisville, VT, the Friends of Lanpher Memorial Library will receive $1 donation for each Community Bag that is purchased! Thank you for supporting our Friends!!

Exciting times ahead! There will be a garden tour featuring 8 gardens in the village of Hyde Park! Gardens range from established summer perennials (sun, shade, large small) to raised beds. There are also vegetable gardens and even a small orchard. There will be a scavenger hunt with some great things to find in each garden! AND then there is tea in the Library : the Friends are providing tea and biscuits (cookies and treats).
Arrive at the Library and collect your map and garden locations/descriptions. You may then walk the village or drive to specific gardens.
This is a FUNDRAISER for our wonderful Lanpher Library - we hope to see you there, supporting the community!
(We would appreciate prepurchase of tickets to have some idea of numbers for tea!)
