A semi-truck rolled into the Highway 86 checkpoint an early Sunday morning, but the documents he presented didn’t tell his full story…

agents at the Highway 86 checkpoint identified the driver as a Cuban National who illegally entered the U.S. in 2022—and who is also wanted in Argentina for tourism fraud scheme that sold vacation packages that were never delivered.

He is now facing removal proceedings✅

agents tracked down a previously identified criminal illegal alien with a record that reads like a rap sheet highlight reel—three felonies, multiple misdemeanors, DUI causing bodily injury, child abuse charge, terror threats, narcotics possession, and more.

You can try and run from your past but accountability will eventually catch up. And when patterns of crime follow someone into our communities, the doesn’t look the other way, we act.

Targeted Enforcement Operation led agents to an arrest of a previously removed criminal illegal alien and convicted s*x offender with a long list of disturbing crimes against children.

His record includes statuatory r**e, lewd acts with a minor, s*x assault, and r**e charges, plus a conviction for smuggling 223 lbs of ma*****na into the United States, which earned him 33 months in prison.

Removed from the U.S. in 2015, order reinstated 2018—yet he returned again. Now he’s facing federal prosecution for illegal reentry under 8 USC 1326.

Indio Station agents seized another California commercial driver’s license from a semi-truck driver.

This undocumented felon had plenty of documented felonies.

The felonies?

1992 – Felony 11352 HS (Transport/Sell Narcotics)
Convicted — 36 months probation, 180 days jail
2004 – Felony 20001(a) VC (Hit & Run Causing Injury)
Convicted — 16 months state prison
2005 – Felony 20001(a) VC (Hit & Run w/Priors)
Sentenced — 16 months state prison
2016 - Felony 8 USC 1326 (Illegal entry after deportation)
Convicted — 8 months

Also convicted of multiple DUIs, including a 365-day jail sentence.

Out of status. Multiple prior removals. Multiple convictions. Expired work authorization. This man, from El Salvador, should not be in the country, let alone driving on the streets.

Another unsafe driver removed.
Another CDL confiscated.
Another win for public safety.

The welcomes nine new Border Patrol Agent Trainees.

We wish these future agents the best of luck as they join Class 1316 & 1317 at the Border Patrol Academy. We look forward to welcoming them back to our sector after graduating—ready, trained, and prepared to stand the line with pride and professionalism.

This trip down Interstate 10 ended in handcuffs and a drug seizure!💥

Border Patrol agents conducted a vehicle stop near that quickly escalated after a K9 alert exposed concealed narcotics. A search uncovered 18 bundles of co***ne worth over $420,000 hidden inside the vehicle. Checks also revealed the driver’s prior narcotic history, adding to the seriousness of the case.

Another shipment stopped. Another threat removed from our highways. Border Patrol remains relentless in shutting down narcotics trafficking and protecting our communities.

Fraud doesn’t stop at the border—and neither does the .

A fugitive wanted in El Salvador for Fraud thought she could quietly live in the United States, that changed fast.

After authorities confirmed the international warrant, El Centro Sector agents worked alongside ICE Joint Operations to track her down. The warrant was confirmed, coordinated through ICE/ERO, and soon, this criminal illegal alien was arrested in Houston, TX.

When international law enforcement connects the dots, there’s nowhere left to hide.
