Police Academy at IUP www.iup.edu/crimjustice We provide Act 120 training and operate in areas where a need for training exists.

The purpose of the Municipal Police Academy, in conjunction with Act 120, is to provide each recruit with the knowledge and professional skills necessary to enter the law enforcement field. Graduates are qualified to be hired as officers in boroughs, townships, and municipalities in Pennsylvania.
