🏡💛 A huge thank you to our partners at IKEA Fishers and IKEA US!

Through IKEA’s expanded Pride Month commitment, IYG (formerly Indiana Youth Group) received an in-kind donation of more than $25,000 in home furnishings, helping us update our community room and music room to be even more welcoming for the LGBTQIA+ youth and young adults we serve.

IKEA Fishers has partnered with IYG for four years now, and this latest gift is helping us build safer, more affirming spaces as we continue to grow our housing program. We are so grateful for partners who show up for our young people, year after year.

Big news for IYG! 📣

After an intensive, months-long search, we are proud to announce that our current Chief of Staff, Joseph Myers (he/him), has been appointed as IYG’s next Chief Executive Officer.

Joseph will begin working closely with current CEO Chris Paulsen (they/she) in the months ahead and will officially assume the role on November 16, 2026.

🌈 Be the reason someone feels like they belong.

For many LGBTQ+ young adults, IYG is more than a place to spend an evening—it's a community where they can show up as their authentic selves, build friendships, and find support. You can help make that possible.

We're looking for caring, dependable volunteers to support Young Adult Nights at the IYG Indianapolis Center. We especially need assistance on Tuesdays from 3:00–6:00 PM.

We recommend volunteering two shifts per month to help foster consistency and build meaningful relationships, but it's not a requirement. Whether you're greeting participants, assisting with activities, or simply being a welcoming presence, your time can have a lasting impact.
