Thank you to Shorr Packaging for building personalized birthday gift bags and birthday cake kits for the families we serve!

Each gift bag was thoughtfully put together for both boys and girls, and the cake kits are the perfect way for families to bake, celebrate, and create special memories together in their new home.🎂💙

We are so grateful to the Office of Stewardship and Development from the Archdiocese of Indianapolis for stopping by and lending a helping hand!

Their team spent time organizing our pantry, clothing rooms, and sorting through donations. Thank you for helping us keep our space looking its best! 🏠💙

Thank you to everyone who made our Back-to-School Event possible!

This weekend, our families received backpacks, school supplies, clothing, school uniforms, and free haircuts to help students start the school year ready and confident.

A special thank you to our amazing barbers who donated their time and talent. We are so grateful for everyone's support! 🎒✏️❤️

Weekend Meal Volunteer Update!

We're excited to share that we've partnered with Second Helpings to help plan and provide our weekend meals! Because of this partnership, our weekend meal volunteer hours have changed:

Lunch: 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Dinner: 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Thank you to Matchbook Learning for inviting HFS to be part of their Summer Bash Annual Resource Fair!

We had an amazing time connecting with families from the community and meeting so many organizations dedicated to serving our neighbors.

This summer, HFS was proud to cover the cost of and provide transportation for the children in our shelter so they could attend age-appropriate summer camps throughout our community!

With the support of amazing partners like Hawthorne Center and Indiana Youth Group, our children explored new interests, made new friends, and created memories that will last long after summer ends.

Thank you to our community partners for helping make these opportunities possible. Together, we're creating brighter futures for the families we serve. 💙

Thank you to Marian University School of Nursing for their incredible generosity!

We've recently welcomed an influx of babies and toddlers, and that means an increased need for baby essentials. Thanks to Marian University Indianapolis , we've been able to restock items like baby bottles, pacifiers, baby soap, and more. 💙
