Summer fun has arrived at Little Red Door!

Alongside Camp Little Red Door and Camp in the City, our Beyond the Woods programming helps campers stay connected and engaged with one another throughout the year. One of our favorite Beyond the Woods programs is our activity boxes!

Each season, our youth clients receive a box filled with crafts, activities, and plenty of fun to enjoy at home. Our summer activity boxes were recently sent out, bringing a little extra sunshine and creativity to our campers’ summer!

In just 13 days, we'll gather at the Indiana State Fair for Cancer Survivors Day—a day dedicated to honoring courage, celebrating milestones, and reminding survivors that they are never alone.

Join us on Sunday, August 16, along Survivors Lane to connect with community resources, discover information about cancer prevention and early detection, and celebrate the incredible strength of cancer survivors.

Happy National Intern Day!

This summer, we’ve been fortunate to have two incredible interns join Team LRD. Next, meet Zach, our Development and Marketing Intern!

Zach is a rising junior at Taylor University and has spent the summer working alongside our Development and Marketing teams. Throughout his internship, he has supported volunteer engagement, development initiatives, and marketing projects while bringing enthusiasm and a drive to make an impact.

Happy National Intern Day!

This summer, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming two incredible interns to Team LRD. First, meet Ezra, our Finance Intern!

Ezra is a rising junior at Indiana University Indianapolis and has spent the summer working alongside our Chief Financial Officer, Steve. Throughout his internship, Ezra has supported our finance team, gained valuable hands-on experience, and brought a positive attitude to the office every day.

Yesterday, Ezra wrapped up his internship by giving an in-depth presentation that helped our team better understand nonprofit finance and how it supports Little Red Door's mission.

Thank you, Ezra, for all of your hard work this summer and for helping us make the most of life and the least of cancer!
