We need your help

Tonight, a 20 year old in our program needs somewhere safe to sleep.
They were just approved for housing, but the move in date is a week away. They are fleeing violence and have nowhere to stay in the meantime. The nearest shelter is full and a general population shelter is not a safe option for them.
We are asking for help covering one week in a hotel so they have a safe place to land while their housing comes through.
Any amount helps. Five dollars, twenty dollars, whatever you can give moves us closer to covering this week.

Juneteenth marks a pivotal moment in American history, the day freedom finally reached the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It is a day of celebration, reflection, and recommitment.
At Sana Place, we carry that spirit of resilience into our work every day. The young people we serve, ages 16 to 24, are building their own paths toward stability and independence, often against significant odds. Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is not just a moment in history, it is an ongoing pursuit, one that requires community, support, and a belief that everyone deserves the chance to thrive.
Today we honor the past, celebrate progress, and recommit to the work of building a more equitable future for the youth we serve.
