Transgender people face disproportionately high rates of violence and abuse. Nearly 50% report experiencing sexual assault during their lifetime. This is a reminder that safety, dignity, and support are not optionalโ€”they are fundamental human rights.

We must listen to transgender voices, challenge discrimination, and work toward communities where everyone can live free from fear and harm.

Help Us Keep Survivors Cool This Summer

The RAVE Shelter is in need of new box fan donations to help provide comfort and relief for individuals and families seeking safety during the hot summer months.

A simple box fan can make a big difference for someone rebuilding their life in a safe and supportive environment. Your donation helps create a more comfortable space for survivors and their children as they heal and move forward.

๐ŸŒˆ Pride Month is a celebration, but it's also a reminder of why visibility matters.

When people see themselves represented, they feel seen, valued, and less alone. Visibility helps challenge stereotypes, foster understanding, and create spaces where everyone can live authentically without fear.

Pride is about honoring those who fought for progress, supporting those still seeking acceptance, and recognizing that every person's story deserves to be heard.

This month, and every month, let's continue building communities where people can show up as their full selves and know they belong. โค๏ธ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ

48% of LGBTQ+ people who have experienced r**e were first r**ed between the ages of 11 and 17.

Nearly half.

This statistic is a stark reminder that sexual violence often begins in childhood and adolescence, and that LGBTQ+ youth face heightened vulnerability to abuse.

Every young person deserves safety, support, and the ability to grow up free from violence. Prevention, education, affirming environments, and accessible survivor services can make a difference.

We must listen to survivors, protect LGBTQ+ youth, and work toward communities where every child is safe.

Pride Month is a celebration of identity, resilience, and community. It is also a time to recognize and support LGBTQ+ survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

Survivors deserve to be believed, respected, and connected to affirming resources, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation. Many LGBTQ+ individuals face unique barriers when seeking help, making visibility, advocacy, and inclusive support more important than ever.

This Pride Month, we honor the strength of survivors, amplify their voices, and recommit to building communities where everyone can live free from violence, fear, and discrimination.

๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ You are seen.
๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ You are valued.
๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ You deserve safety and support.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who sponsored, donated, volunteered, and attended our fundraiser in support of survivors. Your generosity, compassion, and presence made this event truly meaningful and impactful.

Because of your support, we are able to continue providing hope, resources, and encouragement to those on their healing journey. Every contribution big or small helped make a difference, and we could not have done it without this amazing community standing beside us.

Thank you for believing in this mission and for showing survivors that they are seen, supported, and never alone.
