B CO 1-133 IN This is the official page for the Company B "BARBARIANS" 1st Battalion 133d Infantry Regiment.

The assigned mission of CO B 1-133 IN is to close with the enemy by means of fire and maneuver to destroy or capture, or to repel his assault by fire, close combat, and counterattack, but we do so much more than that. We will remain prepared to mobilize, deploy and execute missions, both at home to support the Governor and needs of Iowans, and abroad as an integral part of the federal force. Our s

uccess relies on the strength of our force - our Soldiers. Their skills and knowledge make them leaders in our organization and valued members of Iowa communities. The support of our military families, employers of service members and community members allow us to be committed to serving our state and country.

Barbarian Soldiers have received their Shoulder Sleeve Insignia - Military Operations in Hostile Conditions, or what we call our “Combat Patches.” The right shoulder patch awarding marked a milestone moment for our Soldiers. It will serve as a mark of experience and draw future generations to them for mentorship. We paused to recognize this, and now the mission continues.
