Grandma Jane's Playhouse We’re a nonprofit indoor play space for kids 0-7, offering a fun, safe place for families to connect. You can also book your next Birthday Party with us.

Our mission is to bring the community together through play, programs and events. Grandma Jane's Playhouse was created to encourage PLAY for young children, build community & support families as they experience parenting together. It is a combination of wonderful play environment for children to explore and a party venue for birthday parties or special events. In addition to the play area there wi

ll be seating for adults, and coffee and snacks can be purchased at the snack bar. We are a SHOES-OFF - SOCKS ON facility and require all children and adults to wear socks while playing.

💛 It Takes a Village — And We Have a Pretty Great One! 💛

Grandma Jane’s Playhouse wouldn't be what it is without the amazing people who give their time, energy, and talents to help us thrive. Today, we want to give a BIG thank you to our volunteers! 🥰

First, our Board of Directors — Lacey, Diane, Lorrie, Britt, and Robin. Thank you for volunteering your time to help guide the Playhouse, work through the not-so-fun behind-the-scenes stuff, and keep us moving forward. ❤️

Then we have the wonderful people who help with the day-to-day running of the Playhouse — Lacey, Britt, Kylee, Rachel, Emma, and Rachel. Whether it's covering open play, cleaning, helping with events, or jumping in wherever they're needed, having extra hands makes such a difference. 🧸✨

And, of course, I have to thank my family, who may not technically be on the schedule but are pretty much permanently “on call.” 😂 Weekends, events, something needs fixed, I need an extra set of hands… somehow they always get recruited. ❤️

As a nonprofit, volunteers are such an important part of what keeps Grandma Jane's going. Every hour given to us is an hour that helps keep a fun, welcoming place available for the families in our community.

So if you see one of these wonderful people around the Playhouse, give them a little extra love. 🥰

Grab your coziest jammies because Pajamas & Popcorn is THIS SATURDAY at Grandma Jane’s Playhouse! 🧸💤

We’ll have two showings so you can choose which one works best for your family:

🐻 10:00 AM — Hoppers
🐱 3:00 PM — The Aristocats

Kids are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas and bring whatever makes movie time extra cozy — blankies, stuffies, pillows, etc.! 🥰

🍿 Popcorn for the littles
🧃 Juice included
🛝 Open play included

🎟️ Regular Open Play admission + $5 per family

Come for the movie, stay for the play, and enjoy a cozy Saturday at the Playhouse! ❤️

Birthday parties are supposed to be fun for parents, too! At Grandma Jane’s Playhouse, we try to take some of the work off your plate so you can actually enjoy celebrating your kiddo. ❤️

Both our Basic & Classic Party Packages include:

🎈 2 hours of party time
🎉 Birthday child(ren) + up to 15 additional children
👶 Babies under 12 months are FREE
❤️ Adults are always FREE
☕ FREE coffee for the grown-ups
🥤 One FREE Lotus for the birthday parent
🍽️ Plates & utensils provided
🧹 And maybe the best part… we handle the cleanup!

👑 Want us to handle even more? Go Classic!
Our Classic Package also includes:

✨ A small gift for the birthday child
🎨 Themed decorations, including a backdrop & 3 centerpieces
🍽️ Coordinating themed plates & napkins
🧃 Your choice of juice or water for the kids

And you can still make it completely yours! The princess party pictured is a Classic Party with our Balloon Column and Bounce House add-ons. Mom also brought in some of her own decorations to customize the theme even further—and look how cute it turned out! 👑🏰✨
You bring the birthday kid, the cake, and any personal touches you want. We'll help take care of the rest.

💛 Katie’s Corner: What Parents Don’t Always See…

When you walk into Grandma Jane’s, hopefully what you see is kids playing, parents getting a chance to sit down, and a space where little ones can just be little. 🥰

What you don’t always see is everything that happens when the doors are closed.

🧼 Cleaning and sanitizing toys
🧸 Rotating toys and fixing the ones that have been very enthusiastically loved 😂
🎨 Planning events, activities, and crafts
📦 Ordering snacks, supplies, and all those little things we somehow go through SO quickly
🗓️ Making calendars, posts, signs, and schedules
✨ Dreaming up what we can add or improve next

There are a whole lot of little things that happen behind the scenes to keep this place running—and somehow, there is always something else on the list. 😅

But then the doors open, the Playhouse fills up with little voices and big imaginations, and I get to watch kids make friends, try something new, or proudly show me what they've created.

And that's the part that makes all the behind-the-scenes stuff worth it. ❤️

🎭 More Than Just Costumes...

One of the favorite spots at Grandma Jane's Playhouse is our Dress-Up Corner. 👑🦸‍♀️👷‍♂️👩‍🍳

To kids, it's all about becoming a princess, a firefighter, a doctor, or a superhero for the day. But behind all that fun, something pretty amazing is happening.

✨ Pretend play helps children:
💬 Build language and communication skills
🧠 Strengthen problem-solving and creativity
❤️ Practice empathy by stepping into someone else's shoes
🤝 Learn to cooperate, share, and take turns
🌟 Grow confidence as they create their own adventures

There's no "right way" to play. Whether they're saving the world, running a restaurant, or taking care of a baby doll, they're learning through every imaginative moment.

Sometimes the simplest moments—putting on a funny hat or pretending to make dinner—become the biggest building blocks for growing minds.

Wear your favorite PJs, enjoy popcorn, and settle in for a movie showing at 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM!

Don't forget:
🧦 Socks are required for everyone in the playhouse (we have them available for $2 if needed!)
☕ Parents can relax with a Lotus, coffee, or snack while the kids play.

It's Pay Your Age Day, so the kids get to play for their age in dollars! 🎉

Come enjoy a cool, clean place to play while the AC is cranked, the coffee is hot, and the Lotus drinks are cold. ☕🥤

Oops... I may have accidentally ghosted our page for a hot minute. 😅

Between running the fireworks stand, keeping the playhouse open (thanks to our incredible volunteers ❤️), and trying to remember things like eating and sleeping, social media took a little vacation.

But we're back! 🎉

We'd love to see you! Come let the kids burn some energy while you enjoy a cold Lotus and a little break.
