In observance of Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 7):
🗑️ No collection – residential trash, curbside recycling, brush/bulky.

Irving city planning managers, contractors and inspectors recently toured Phase 1B of the Elm Fork Extension to check out the latest progress and discuss next steps.

The area also reflects 10 years of work by the Valley Ranch Green Club to beautify the trail and help the community earn recognition as a certified wildlife habitat.

Crews are making progress on channel improvements and wastewater construction north of Wells Road. Work also continues on the Briery Yard Ramp, with construction of the Wells Road bridge among the next steps.

The project includes water and wastewater improvements, channel upgrades and bridge replacements to strengthen infrastructure along West Irving Creek.

Construction is expected to be completed in late 2027.
