If 2020 taught us anything - it’s the importance of agility and collaboration to meet rapidly changing needs. How we innovate to solve problems - and fund solutions - is part of ‘phase 2’. Today, the North Texas Innovation Alliance has published a call for revenue generating solutions for government on Marketplace.city, a digital marketplace and service that helps state and local governments source, validate, and procure technology. As local governments continue to adapt to evolving resident expectations, budget shortfalls, aging infrastructure, and emerging technology to improve service delivery, North Texas is emerging as a leader to stay on top of trends and committed to adopting innovative, research-based solutions. The first step is sourcing a complete market landscape to evaluate available options. Some of the areas NTXIA is hoping to explore are asset and data monetization, equitable fee structures, service efficiencies, and hope to have solutions that touch many functions and departments internally and externally.

The NTXIA and Marketplace.city will be holding an informational webinar on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 1:00pm CT. Submissions are accepted through July 16th. More information and the steps to submit can be found at https://bit.ly/3pgcvbV. #NTXIA

The City of Irving, TX

Irving is an exceptional place, rich in culture and diversity. The eclectic roster of restaurant selections in Irving has a mixture of local flavors and international cuisine, with a number of options not found anywhere in North Texas. The city also takes great pride in preserving natural space; Campion Trail is a 22-mile greenbelt along the Trinity River with some of the most breath-taking views in all of Dallas-Fort Worth. Irving’s corporate landscape is truly unique, not only is our office park the largest in the region, its where more than 10 percent of Fortune 500 companies are headquartered. Irving is truly all encompassing of a live, work, play lifestyle.

DID YOU KNOW??? The Irving Fire Department Employees racial makeup is 90% white? This information was provided by the city of Irving Texas in regards to an open records request.
The mayor don't know why people don't trust the police. He talks about it, supports cops. even the bad ones. but rarely does psychological evaluations to see if these people are fit to police!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8RMX0Z40oM
twc does not enforce texas labor code 214.004. unemployment benefits fraud by employers!!! 214.003 is enforced!!!! AGAINST EMPLOYEES FOR UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS FRAUD!!!! Got that info from an open records request to TWC for prosecutions of employers who intentionally lie to TWC to deny benefits to employees in order to protect themselves from civil rights violations. This info came directly from THE GENERAL COUNSEL OF THE TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION PROVIDED TO ME PERSONNALY!!!!! The open records department notified them. here is the email. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UVTrVcvk7fXGxB9MHAKVHoaf5KKCSxnC/view?usp=sharing here is the section of the UI benefits manual provided to me. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Cu1LpsGpU4b9Pkdk5ipy-n838QBlWei_/view?usp=sharing here is my response. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VRT2B5D6sF3DLR5RNDNDzjSYfRR2lBkr/view?usp=sharing haven't heard from the General counsel of TWC since. AND the Texas Workforce Commission is gonna get sued for this. interviewing lawyers now,,,, P.S. the city of Irving and the Irving police department tried to stop me from reporting this violation of federal law. Sec. 303. [42 U.S.C. 503] (a) The Secretary of Labor shall make no certification for payment to any State unless he finds that the law of such State, approved by the Secretary of Labor under the Federal Unemployment Tax Act, includes provision for— (3) Opportunity for a fair hearing, before an impartial tribunal, for all individuals whose claims for unemployment compensation are denied; In the state of Texas, all employees are provided with a false understanding that a fair hearing before an impartial tribunal will occur when in fact the employer has an implied immunity against prosecution for unemployment Insurance benefits fraud. (6) The making of such reports, in such form and containing such information, as the Secretary of Labor may from time to time require, and compliance with such provisions as the Secretary of Labor may from time to time find necessary to assure the correctness and verification of such reports; My Open Record requests were ignored to discourage my attempt to obtain information and expose violations of law committed by Texas Workforce Commission. https://www.ssa.gov/OP_Home/ssact/title03/0303.htm In addition, the Texas Workforce Commission violated sections 303(b)(1) because many persons in all protected classes were the ones who lost their benefits. And 303(b)(2) discriminating against employees when the law was violated by employers by providing an implied immunity from prosecution. Sec. 303. [42 U.S.C. 503] (b) Whenever the Secretary of Labor, after reasonable notice and opportunity for hearing to the State agency charged with the administration of the State law, finds that in the administration of the law there is— (1) a denial, in a substantial number of cases, of unemployment compensation to individuals entitled thereto under such law; Many were denied UI benefits because Employers had been given an implied immunity from prosecution. And some forced to pay back UI benefits payments. I do not have the authority to require the information to prove this out, but the Secretary of Labor does. Most of those cases can be identified by the number of appeals by Employees in which the Employee lost. Most all cases of Employee appeals won, and Employer appeals lost are related specifically to employer UI Benefits fraud. The Assistant to the General Counsel of the Texas Workforce Commission is attempting to determine the costs associated with my Open Records request even though they have been given money to do this work by the Federal government. (2) a failure to comply substantially with any provision specified in subsection (a); No evidence of any prosecution of an employer in the state of Texas exists. This was made known in an open records request submitted by me and responded to by the Assistant to the General Counsel of the Texas Workforce Commission. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UVTrVcvk7fXGxB9MHAKVHoaf5KKCSxnC/view?usp=sharing Sections 303(k)(1)(D) and 303(k)(2)(E) The actions taken by the State of Texas to enforce the law regarding Unemployment Insurance Benefit fraud was, and still is, directed purely and in totality against the Employees in the State of Texas. Employers are not prosecuted for misleading the Texas Workforce Commission regarding the justification for terminating an employee. Sec. 303. [42 U.S.C. 503] (k) (1) For purposes of subsection (a), the unemployment compensation law of a State must provide— (D) that meaningful civil and criminal penalties are imposed with respect to— (i) persons that knowingly violate or attempt to violate those provisions of the State law which implement subparagraph (A) or (B) or regulations under subparagraph (C), and (ii) persons that knowingly advise another person to violate those provisions of the State law which implement subparagraph (A) or (B) or regulations under subparagraph (C), (2) For purposes of this subsection— (E) the term “knowingly” means having actual knowledge of or acting with deliberate ignorance of or reckless disregard for the prohibition involved; https://www.ssa.gov/OP_Home/ssact/title03/0303.htm

Was wondering, why do we have orange markings on our lawns on New Haven St?
I'd just like to give a huge shout-out to our Irving city services, in particular the garbage collection team. Not only are they efficient, prompt, and friendly, but they also make sure that oversized trash gets picked up within 24 hours, keeping our streets nice and tidy. Your work is appreciated. Thank you!
#irvingtrashoff The Keep Irving Beautiful clean up in Northwest Park went really well this morning. It was fun, social and an adventure. And wow, does the park look better! 5 of us made it to the event: Soulafa Amer and her son, Theresa Canales, Rebecca Bates and me. Hope you can join us next time. Rod Roberts came over to take our pictures. Thanks Rod! Look for sporadic "Keep Espanita Beautiful" events.
Can we have these signs in irving?
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post, but here it goes. I want to sincerely "pat on the back" the folks that drive/ride through every nook and cranny to pick up our trash/refuse. Called waste collector, garbageman, trashman or whatever. I call them heroes! Talk about a rough job! Hot weather. Cold weather. Wet weather. They make the rounds. But talk about doing a job VERY well. Kudos to your employees Solid Waste Services! I have no complaints, only praises.
