I want to take a moment to explain WHY I am running for the Itasca Village Board
The biggest reason is representation. I believe our community deserves representation that truly understands the wants and needs of families with younger children. With firsthand experience raising a young family here, I can tell you things aren't the same as it was 20-30 years ago. I see the unique challenges and opportunities families face. I believe our village leadership should include voices that can relate to the priorities of providing safe, supportive, and engaging environments where children and families can thrive. By serving as a trustee, I want to be a dedicated advocate for initiatives that enrich family life, strengthen community bonds, and ensure our village is a welcoming place for all ages.
I bring fresh perspectives and understand unique current needs of so many of us when considered. As a village trustee, I will work to ensure these voices are heard and valued, advocating for policies and projects that support the well-being of families today and lay a strong foundation for generations to come.
Our community deserves a fresh approach, one that goes beyond the status quo of the current administration. We need change—a proactive vision that embraces growth, adaptability, and inclusion. By focusing on what matters to families and children, we can make meaningful progress, creating a village that doesn’t just meet present needs but is prepared to thrive in the future. As a trustee, I will work to bring new ideas to the table, making our community a place that evolves with the needs of its people, providing opportunities for growth, and building a foundation that benefits everyone.
I have been deeply involved in this community, actively participating in local organizations, events, and initiatives that support our families and enrich our shared spaces.
