We know the access gap to industrial arts training opportunities is wide! Working together across county and community lines, we can expand access to industrial arts training certifications and work-based learning opportunities that align with regional industry and employment needs and unlock economic mobility for our communities.

The Jackson Police Department and Jackson Fire Department are proud to announce the launch of a brand new Explorer Program!

This program is designed for teenagers and young adults interested in a future in public safety. Explorers will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about law enforcement and fire service through training, ride-alongs, community events, hands-on experience, and competitions alongside our police officers and firefighters.

If you or someone you know is looking for an exciting way to serve the community, gain valuable skills, and explore a possible career path, this program is a great place to start.

ADOPT JANICE🩷

This beautiful LGD cross is looking for a unicorn home 🦄……one where she is the one and only dog.

Shelter life is no fun for her and she’s lost her patience with the dogs here. So she’s decided that she would like to be on her own with a human to shower her with affection.

She is:
✅ potty trained
✅ basic leash obedience
✅ plays fetch
✅ spayed
✅ heartworm negative
✅ fully vaccinated

We are guessing Janice to be around 4 years old. She came to us as a stray so we don’t know much about her. But we do know she’s a sweetheart and we need to find her a human asap!
