Reminder of an interesting first time event at Lake Katharine Friday night. Meet at the hiking parking lot in the Beaver Pike side. A small light would be handy.

Join naturalists Friday July 31 at 9 pm to see and learn about what kind of moths are out and about at Lake Katharine State Nature Preserve! View other critters, listen to nighttime creatures, and enjoy a beautiful night! Bathrooms and water are available. Recommended snacks, and mosquito repellent. Just a reminder of the night hike coming up Thursday evening June 18. We will gather in the Lake Katharine hiking parking lot ( Beaver Pike side ) at 9 pm for a one of a kind hike to explore the lake and forest on a summer night. This is a short, family friendly hike and be sure to bring a flashlight and some bug spray. Please register at [email protected] so we will have an idea of how many hikers to expect.
