🟢🔴2020 Holiday Changes🔴🟢

In order to comply with the guidelines issued to us by the Onslow Co. Health Department and Governor Roy Cooper’s executive order our holiday season will unfortunately have to undergo some major changes this year. Our guest’s safety is our number one priority.

🍗The restaurant will be by 💥RESERVATION ONLY💥 every night starting November 19th until December 23rd. Thursday-Saturday nights will NO LONGER be available for walk ins. This will assist us in crowd control and is the best way for us to comply with regulations.

😷Face masks will be required when on the property except when seated in the restaurant.

😞It is with a heavy heart that we have to cancel the performance portion of our HoHo Christmas Show and the Wilmington Celebration Choir this season. We will be contacting guests via email in event date order in regards to refunds and alternate reservation options. Please be patient with us as it may take a week or so to get everyone contacted.

🎅🏼We will still have Supper with Santa but with a few socially distanced changes. We will also be sending emails to all Supper With Santa guests detailing these changes.

🎄The hayride will still be open to the public but we will likely experience longer wait times due to limited wagon capacity.

🐔Our food truck will be open for carry out Thursday-Saturday from November 19th-December 19th.

Please be patient with us as we are making calls to confirm and rearrange current reservations and will attempt to take new ones starting next week. We are expecting our phone lines to be extremely busy. We would like to thank everyone for understanding these mandated changes and for the support we have had during the pandemic.❤️

Runyon Photography LLC

Be a part of a community event with RP Studios!
RP Studios is hosting a Winter Wonderland Experience from November 28th-December 21st. We will be transforming our space into a Christmas explosion where people can enjoy the sounds, sites and smells of the holiday season in a safe environment. With COVID canceling traditional holiday events this year, We want to keep the spirit alive and spread Christmas cheer! We are looking for cheerful, enthusiastic, Christmas-loving sponsors who want to join us in creating a memorable event.

As a sponsor, you have an opportunity to reserve a space in the studio and create a magnificent scene for our families to walk through, take selfies in and get the Christmas love they are desperately needing this year. Another sponsor opportunity is to reserve a spot in our Stocking stuffers. As they exit the Winter Wonderland Experience, the families who participate will be given a stocking. Make a mark and have them remember you with a holiday promotional item inside their stocking.

However you decide to sponsor at this event, rest assured your names will be placed within the studio, online and in the stocking stuffers for everyone to know how much you care about our community.

If this excites you as much as it has us here at RP Studios and would like to participate, fill out the form below and decide which area you'd like to sponsor. We are so excited to have you on board in creating a magical moment for Jacksonville families!

https://rpstudiosllc.com/form/winter-wonderland-sponsor-form

For further information, please contact Sylvia Runyon at 252-643-6852 or by email at [email protected]

The opportunity to sponsor a portion of this event is on a first come first served basis, extremely limited, TIME SENSITIVE and will be booked fast. So don't delay and join in on the fun!!

https://www.nccommerce.com/.../mortgage-utility-and-rent...
Program Update - as of October 15, 2020:
• We continue to accept applications for the Mortgage, Utility and Rent Relief (MURR) Program -- this program is designed for businesses, and instructions and a link to the online form can be found below on this page.
• Review the questions first. We've posted the MURR application questions to expect, so you can prepare your answers and gather your documents before starting the actual online application.
• For citizens seeking help with rent or utility payments, Governor Cooper has announced the N.C. Housing Opportunities and Prevention of Evictions (HOPE) Program. For more information on the HOPE program, call 2-1-1 or visit nc211.org/hope to apply online.
If your business has experienced extraordinary business disruption and not been able to open due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the new Mortgage, Utility and Rent Relief (MURR) Program may be able to offer assistance with some of your fixed costs.
To qualify to receive these relief funds, your organization must meet certain eligibility criteria.
We are accepting applications for this assistance on a first-come, first-served basis.
We can't guarantee your business will receive funding under this program. However, we will pay the maximum assistance for which a business is eligible, and will make those payments to as many qualifying businesses as we can until program funds are exhausted. If additional funds become available after the first round of funding is committed, the Program may reopen - but there is no guarantee we can reopen.
Our MURR team is available to assist you.

‼️ATTENTION‼️: One more day for the 2020 Census!

It takes five minutes or so to fill out the internet self-response for this years' Census and you have until TOMORROW to make your household count!

Best way to do so? Head over to 2020Census.gov

Filling out the Census allows for you and your community to be heard, bringing thousands of dollars in federal funding for schools, infrastructure, hospitals, emergency management, and roadways. It also plays a huge role in how many representatives your State receives in Congress. So YES, your participation matters!

Don't miss out on this chance, as the next census won't be for another 10 years.

I have recently retired and am thinking of moving to your city. What can you tell me about senior activities there?
Requesting assistance to gain clarification from the state as to the nature of Escape Rooms. I sent the body of this post as an email to State General Assembly Representatives, Cleveland, and Shepard, as well as Sheriff Miller. Brian Vinciguerra 7:02 PM (30 minutes ago) to Phil.Shepard, George.Cleveland, sheriff Good evening Gentlemen, I am Brian Vinciguerra, I own Cracked It Escape Games LLC here in Onslow County. I am writing to you this evening to gain clarification of Governor Cooper's Executive Order 141 " EASING RESTRICTIONS ON TRAVEL, BUSINESS OPERA TIO NS, AND MASS GATHERINGS: PHASE 2" I am a member of a trade industry group of North Carolina Escape Room business owners. We are seeking clarification as to whether we will be able to open under phase 2 restrictions since we are not specifically mentioned in the types of businesses that are to remain closed. Unfortunately, there is a great amount of apprehension and confusion among our group. A fellow business owner spoke recently with a representative from the Lieutenant Governor's Office. A Mr. Roberts indicated that Escape Rooms are classified as retail businesses and would have been permitted to open under phase 1 opening guidelines. A second owner further spoke with a different representative from the Lieutenant Governor's Office and was to something diametrically opposed to that and that we are classified as entertainment venues and should follow the restrictions as stated. The confusion lies in our business classification according to N.C. Taxation bulletin we are classified as a participatory event and not entertainment. I would like to proceed with reopening my business in a safe and legal manner and would request your assistance in clarifying this issue. Escape Room venues are by their very nature small groups who are familiar with each other (friends and family). In most cases, our business capacities within our locations are less than 25 people per including operational staff. Those 25 people are further divided into small groups of mostly not more than 10 people who are familiar with each other. Every single Escape Room in North Carolina is modifying our business practices to be in accordance with the Governor's Executive Order as delineated below. All Private Experiences Contactless Check-in. Staggered Game Start Times so that Parties Don't Overlap. Game Masters and Staff Will Remain a Minimum of 6 feet From Guests and wear a face covering. Pre-shift temperature checks and screening. Disinfecting Rooms Between Games. Deep Disinfecting of Rooms and Facilities at the End of Every Night. More information is available on our web page at Link: https://bit.ly/2T8hAnM Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. If you would like to speak with me regarding this I am available at your convenience. Respectfully, Brian A. Vinciguerra (GySgt, USMC Ret.) Owner, Cracked It Escape Games
