Thank You, Onslow County Commissioners!
The Onslow Soil & Water Board extends our gratitude to the Onslow County Board of Commissioners for adopting a resolution reaffirming the County’s commitment to protecting and improving water quality through responsible stormwater management.
This resolution encourages all new or significantly renovated County-funded facilities to incorporate Low Impact Development (LID) stormwater strategies whenever practical and fiscally responsible.

The Resource Conservation Workshop is a weeklong, immersive experience for students passionate about natural resource conservation. Held each June on the campus of NC State University in Raleigh, NC, the workshop combines classroom instruction, hands-on activities, and fieldwork to explore a wide range of conservation topics and practices.

This year, Onslow Soil and Water Conservation District proudly sponsored Alexia Gross, a student from Swansboro High School, to attend the workshop. Alexia joined us at our October board meeting to share highlights from her experience.
