So, I would like to know why the kids are being made to wear mask while outside? The governor order states that if someone is exercising or outside they shouldn't have to.
Why is the school system NOT supplying the bus drivers with the cleaning supplies needed to keep the buses clean. They should not be having to pay out of pocket for it.
Is any student at Jacksonville Commons Middle School receiving any instruction from any class today that is in Cohort A?
Ummm...Onslow Virtual School students are required to be in live classes during this lunch hub time frame. How will they get lunch? Especially elementary students who are too young to just be left at home alone for a parent to go get it?
I just wanna share, I'm disgusted! How do you as a school expect kids to do their virtual schooling 3 days a week if your schools don't have enough laptops in? My child has an IEP & is a freshman. If this fails her further education wise though... that's going to be on yall!!!
Why are teachers and students NOT being tested prior to school starting to prove they are negative for Covid? Now a teacher is positive at a school in this district! Kids have to show proof of vaccination and teachers need to be negative for active TB. Someone want to explain this????
I am a parent of three children at southwest elementary school. They are on the wait list for ovs, but have not been accepted. I do not want to send them to physical school. They have already been given teachers, and cohorts. Sending them to physical school defeats the purpose of them being on the waitlist and so desperately wanted them to stay in the school system, but also stay home. I belive there should be an option for all the parents in this group. Considering they have already been assigned teachers and cohorts, why cant those who havent been accepted to virtual, do all 5 days of the virtual work with the teachers they have been assigned. The teachers have already prepared it for 5 days a week and parents can pick up all the work anyway. This would be an excellent option for those waiting, and still wanting to be a part of the school system. It may require more legwork from parents, but I'm willing to do it to ensure my children's and thier classmates and staff safety. PLEASE allow this to be an option. Please.
When should we expect to hear from the schools about how classes will be during virtual days? For instance, will there be specific times they must log onto their computers to watch live teaching? I am asking as a parent who works and needs to schedule appropriately. Thank you
Where is the school supply lists for pre k to fifth grade at?
When will we be finding out class schedules and how to access the classes for the onslow virtual school? I have 3 kids enrolled with 1 who has an IEP.
