It is moments like these that make our jobs that much more important and be a part of something bigger! Thank you to Blake and the many women and children in his shoes for the wonderful reminder that even through a difficult time we shouldn't loose the spirit of Christmas. Safe Haven of Tarrant County

“We had to leave our house. Dad was mad… Mom said it was time to leave and she would take us to a safer place where we don't have to be scared.”

Hello everyone! As many of you may know, April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and our agency would like to invite you to join our county wide movement of “Teal it Stops.” We are joining in with the National Denim day to show our support by wearing TEAL t-shirts and jeans to send a powerful message that there’s no place for sexual violence in our community.

I loved being able to have my customers come together to support a great resource for women 💜 https://www.facebook.com/1537886346425931/posts/2484961781718378/?d=n
March 11-12, 2019 Grant Management Class Hosted by Wake County Sheriff's Office.
We at Southwest Middle School are excited to have you join us on Monday the 26th of March at 6PM for our Resource Fair. Thank you!
Family and Friends...... Please join us for a very, very special night this Saturday at Dancing Stars of Jacksonville. I'm so very humbled to say that Kelly Keating, my cousin, will be sharing her very personal story of how Domestic Violence affected her life and the lives of those she loves. Her sweet Mama, Nancy, who was my aunt and my Mama's baby sister, lost her life as a result of abuse. For a glimpse of this heart wrenching real-life story, check out Nancy's Voice on FaceBook. We CAN make a difference! We'd very much appreciate your "like" and "share" of Onslow Women's Center, Dancing Stars of Jacksonville, along with Nancy's Voice. Love shouldn't hurt.......❤️
Tickets are going fast !!! Buy yours today online - www.onslowwc.org or stop by the Onslow Women's Center at 226 New Bridge Street. Only 5 days left and we are expecting a sell out.

Princess Avery Ross and Mrs Vargas!
I went before Judge Henry yesterday and he denied my restraining order against my ex-husband who has been following me and coming to where I am staying every day of the week, except weekends when his new wife is off work. When I left court and returned to my property, now my sons place of residence he was there. Judge Henry told me my ex-filed for a restraining order and he granted his yet denied mine. I made him, Judge Henry aware that I have not made contact with him, gone to his work, his home and was just baffled that he would deny my restraining order. I spent the night in jail because of his accusations and the situation continues to spiral. Have many women found him to be non-supportive of women? If so how did they go about finding a judge more sympathetic to the needs of women!
