Join the Jamul Fire Safe Council for our upcoming Trash Disposal Event:

🧹 What You CAN Bring:
✔️ Furniture
✔️ Appliances

🚫 NOT Allowed:
❌ Paints, oils, tires
❌ Batteries or electronics
❌ Hazardous or flammable materials
❌ Asbestos
❌ No contractors or junk hauling companies

The Jamul Fire Safe Council is hosting a FREE Chipping Event to help reduce wildfire risk in our community!
DO NOT BRING PALMS AND/OR BAMBOO
📅 Saturday, February 21st
⏰ 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Located at the end of the Lawson Valley community.
Bring your cut vegetation and let us help you clear defensible space around your home. This is a great opportunity to prepare for fire season and keep our community safe.
🌿 Please have material ready before the event begins.
🤝 Open to Lawson Valley residents.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our original Chipping Event scheduled for June 21st has been CANCELLED and RESCHEDULED.

Please join us in Alpine on Saturday, June 7, 2025, for the Household Hazardous and Electronic Waste Collection Event for Unincorporated San Diego County residents at Joan MacQueen Middle School (2001 Tavern Rd, Alpine, CA 91901) from 9am-2pm or until capacity is reached.

Unincorporated area residents are invited to properly dispose of household hazardous waste and electronic waste. Household Hazardous Waste includes but is not limited to batteries, cellphones, printers, computers, motor fluids, oils, household cleaners and other chemicals, LED & fluorescent light bulbs, and paint (see event flyer link for full list of accepted items). Please note tires, bulky items, mattresses, green waste, and hazardous waste from businesses or incorporated City residents is NOT allowed.
