They spout all sorts of "projected" benefits, but let's look at the PROVEN RESULTS of the divided 4-lane US 231 through Spencer County for what would ACTUALLY happen with the Mid-States Corridor. The divided 4-lane US 231 fully opened to traffic in March 2011, FIFTEEN YEARS ago. Where is their economic development? Where are their thousands of additional residents and new jobs created? Oh yeah, there are NONE of these results, except for a new Dollar General store at US 231/Hwy 70 and a gas station at US 231/Hwy 162. In fifteen years. PROVEN results outweigh "projected" results every time.
