Hello, my name is Pete Thomsen and I am seeking re-election to the Ogden School Board. As a parent, I want all our children to get a good quality education, to graduate and be in position to succeed long after high school, to have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities and experiences, and to be safe while they are at school. I have experience serving on the Ogden School Board the last four years, I am currently the board vice president, and I have served on several different subcommittees, including facilities, finance, and transportation. I am approachable, respectful, thoughtful, compassionate, and a good listener. I value and respect the opinions of others who may not think like me. One of the great things about working on a team like the school board is being able to come together across all walks of life to make decisions and improve our district for all kids and staff. I am excited about the prospects of doing this for another 4 years!

I am Pete Thomsen and I am running for Ogden School Board. I understand that the school system is a vital part of the community. I want to make sure our students have every opportunity to succeed. I would like to get involved in our district, identify challenges and opportunities and work as a team with the rest of the administration to implement solid policies.
I am a great listener, approachable, dedicated and dependable. I also enjoy working in a team environment. I feel that my career experiences as well as my volunteer experiences serving on committees in Ogden have prepared me to excel on the School Board. Please consider voting for me!
