It’s not scary… it can be really fun. There are so many great hardworking Wisconsinites and we want to make sure they have a plan to participate in our great democracy! WI Needs Farmers!
It was great to have the opportunity visit to Rosy-Lane Holsteins Farm. We talked about something too easy to overlook: keeping our country roads maintained year round. When those roads aren’t kept up, it’s not just an inconvenience, it’s cattle getting tossed around during transport. That’s exactly why programs like Wisconsin’s Agricultural Roads Improvement Program matter, since it funds fixing weight posted local roads that are an impediment to farming. Rural infrastructure is farm infrastructure.

We also talked about their upcoming expansion and how technology is opening new doors in agriculture. I came away with a deeper appreciation for the challenges farmers face and the enormous value they bring to our communities every single day.

My first Gemuetlichkeit Parade as a WI assembly candidate. I love this parade every year and the community support around it is palpable. I ran into 4-5 classmates today who come from out of town every year just for G-days celebrations. So thankful to all those who volunteered to walk and bike in support!

I had the chance to meet Met Kristi Scheunemann, known to most as Ms. Wheelchair WI 2026. I learned she’s also a fierce advocate for people with disabilities, serving on multiple advisory boards for disability advocacy groups.

The moment that stuck with me: I invited her to some upcoming events, and she said, “I’d love to, but some of the buildings aren’t accessible, and some I’d need help getting in the doors.” It was a real reminder that access isn’t automatic. We all benefit when we recognize these barriers and work to remove them, so everyone in our community can fully participate.

What a great person doing so much good in the community and statewide.

I keep thinking about how many of our neighbors are relying on places like the Watertown Food Pantry right now.

Pantries like this one and others across WI are holding our communities together. Giving children and families a BASIC need- Food! But they shouldn’t have to carry the weight alone.

We need an economy with good paying jobs. That means helping our farmers expand into new markets so they can compete. It means investing in economic development that our communities actually choose for themselves. And it means restoring worker rights, so at the end of a hard day’s work, you’ve got a paycheck you’re proud of.

The real solution to food insecurity is funding Wisconsin based food sources and investing in our local economies to create good paying jobs!

I agree with Sheriff Maze on suspending Flock surveillance cameras here. The data misuse concerns are real, and we need to step back and sort this out. Our law enforcement teams deserve all the support and tools we can give them, but using taxpayer dollars for Flock cameras and surveillance with their broken trust needs to be examined more closely.

It's imperative that everyone understand this: trust between the community and its leaders is the foundation of our overall safety.

My opponent for state assembly, Will Penterman, co-sponsored Assembly Bill 300, which provides grants for ALPRs and Flock surveillance.

We've seen problems with Flock pop up across WI and the country. If we're spending taxpayer money, we need to be careful about it. Big Tech surveillance companies want minimal guardrails and pay millions in legal fees to try and keep it this way. We must push back with more authority, guardrails, and accountability.
