Calling all Veterans - those enrolled for VA care and those who are eligible! Please mark your calendar to visit one of the facilities of the Alexandria VA Health Care System on April 2nd! Fort Polk, Jennings, Natchitoches, Lake Charles, Lafayette Campus A and Campus B, and Alexandria. Come by to meet your VA home team line-up and learn about the services that are available or enroll for care!

It's that time of year that we will be picking up all of the artificial floral arrangements. If you would like to keep them, please come by the cemetery by Monday March 9th. After that day we will remove them and only allow fresh flowers.

🎖️ Honoring the Legacy of Dwayne “Chief” Guidry ⛳🌲

Please consider supporting the Dwayne “Chief” Guidry Memorial Scramble, hosted by the DPG Foundation, in honor of a man whose service and leadership left a lasting impact on Louisiana’s veteran community.

Dwayne Guidry was the first Director of the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, and his dedication to honoring our Veterans continues to live on through this event. Proceeds from the tournament will support Wreaths Across America at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery and help fund a scholarship established in Dwayne’s honor.
