Thank you for believing in me and in our vision for America.
Tonight, the moment did not belong to us.
We were outspent 10 to 1. AI, crypto, pro-Israel groups, war profiteers, and every other special interest lobby rallied against us. And still, more than 11,000 people stood with our campaign. We walked away with one-third of the vote.
More importantly, we changed the conversation in this race. The incumbent finally criticized AIPAC publicly. He said he wanted to abolish ICE. He finally began talking about Medicare for All. That did not happen by accident. It happened because of the people-powered movement we built together.
This campaign was never about one person. It was about a movement across this country of people who are sick and tired of being told their voices do not matter.
To the more than 11,000 people who voted for me: thank you. Thank you for believing in me, for fighting alongside me, and for proving that courage still has a home in our politics.
We did not win tonight. But I am more certain than ever that the future is bright.
