The burn ban has been lifted.

Warmer, drier conditions still increase the risk of brush and wildfires. If conducting a controlled burn:

• Keep a safe distance from structures and debris
• Have a water supply available
• Do not burn in windy conditions
• Never leave a fire unattended
• Fully extinguish the fire when finished

Carbon County residents are encouraged to notify the Carbon County Communications Center at 570-325-9111 prior to burning.

If your fire gets out of hand, call 911 early.
