It's time to start thinking about the 3rd Annual Holiday Jubilee 2026- and YOU are invited! This mask-making workshop looks like a perfect place to start. 🤖👹🤡😻

Ready to build a face that stops traffic?

Join the wildly creative Abby O’Sullivan for a three-week mask-making adventure that blends sculpture, costume design, and bold imagination. Using foam core and reused materials, you’ll design and construct architectural masks that can be worn in a parade, displayed as art, or proudly hung in your home (Shrek energy encouraged 👀).

Abby brings serious creative firepower to the studio — and students feel it:

“This class was wonderful! Abby has a wealth of knowledge & creativity, and I felt encouraged to follow the inner muse. Highly recommend :)”

“Abby was a wonderful creative teacher bringing all her Hollywood skills in order for us to create lumpy bumpy scary as well as smooth shiny cartoon style faces on our masks. Mine was SHREK — hangs in my son's home.”

From lumpy and bumpy to smooth and shiny, Abby helps you push materials into expressive, spectacular forms. Her background as a film Costume Designer (with credits including Sinister, Dark Harvest (MGM), A24’s Mississippi Grind, and the Oscar-nominated Frozen River) brings a professional edge — but her teaching style keeps the space playful, welcoming, and creatively freeing.

✨ Parade Heads: Building Silly, Strange & Spectacular Faces

Marshmallows roasting on an open fire. Tractors lit up like a Christmas tree, glowing down Lower Main Street. Santas big and small, and even a Grinch or two.

Big thanks to the LUHS volunteers! They handed out 400 free items, helped with set up, crafts and crossing folks! 💕

Congratulations to Adaline Cochran!
Adaline filled her card and turned it in—completing an impressive list of Jubilee activities in just two hours!

She managed to:
• Find an Elf at Johnson's General Store
• Roast a marshmallow on the Village Green
• Hear a Christmas story at the Historical Society
• Get her face painted at Marvin's Country Store
• Make a candle at the Library
• Meet Santa at Untamed Beauty
• Create an ornament at Rejuvenation Wellness
• Decorate a cookie at Marsala Salsa

WOW—what a impressive sprint around town!

A huge thank you to the 100+ participants who joined the scavenger hunt, and to all the businesses and organizations who generously hosted, stamped cards, and made this new Jubilee activity such a big success.

Should we do it again next year?
