Maj. Gen. Martin F. Klein, Deputy Commanding General U.S. Army Reserve Command, delivers remarks to soldiers attending a planning workshop in support of upcoming Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX), 26-02, at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif. Mar. 28, 2026. The 91st Training Division hosted the event, which gave participating units time to refine the exercise concept of operations, communications concept, and site support concept.

Soldiers from HHC, 91st Training Division, participated in various events during Battle Assembly, Feb. 20-22. These included briefings on opportunities in the warrant officer career field, a class on the US Army Reserve Careers Group from Master Sgt. The 91st Training Division held its Yearly Training Brief, Feb. 20-22, Sloan, Nev., with leadership teams briefing the division command team of Brig. Gen. Shaun Miller and Command Sgt. Maj. Sarah Dean their current state of readiness and plans for the upcoming fiscal year. Those in attendance also received classes on SHARP, EO, Ethics and Safety as part of the event.

Today, the 91st Training Division remembers Pfc. Raymond Edward Stevens, who died on this date Feb. 20, 1942, at the age of 47. Stevens was born in Idaho on July 29, 1894. Stevens served with the 362nd Infantry Regiment during World War 1. The 362nd IR was a key component of the 91st "Wild West" Infantry Division during the war, composed largely of drafted men from the Pacific Northwest. After training at Camp Lewis, they fought in France, notably during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive in September 1918. They were known for their service, including actions in Belgium.

Pfc. Stevens' grave site can be found at Mountain View Cemetary, Walla Walla, Washington.

Highlights from 2nd Brigade, 91st Training Division, during assorted battle assemblies and training events from January. Units included are HHC, 2nd BDE, 1st and 2nd Mission Command Training Detachments, and 11/104th Battalion (OC/T). Various events included medical readiness, promotions, convoy operations, OC/T recertification in cold weather conditions, the Army Combat Water Survival Test, and Military Decision-Making Process assistance for the 95th and 98th Training Divisions. The 91st TD command team of Brig. Gen. Shaun Miller and Command Sgt. Maj. Sarah Dean visited the 2nd MCTD, where they hosted a Town Hall Meeting and conducted both Noncommissioned Officer and Officer Professional Development.

Soldiers from HHC, 91st Training Division, participated in numerous events during a busy opening two days of Battle Assembly, including briefings on SHARP and the Inactive Duty Training reimbursement program, Jan. 23. Saturday saw several Soldiers take the Army Fitness Test, while Command Sgt. Maj. Sarah Dean, command sergeant major, 91st TD, held a Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development training session. This productive start to 2026 ensures the division is prepared to execute their training mission in support of the Army Reserve.
