Did You Know that Elections are technically not over yet?! 🤔

Yes, that’s correct. Congressional District 13 will have a Special Election to fulfill the unexpired term of the late Congressman David Scott.

Congressional District 13 covers 6 counties, which include DeKalb, Henry, Newton, Rockdale, Gwinnett and Clayton.

In Clayton County Congressional District 13 covers parts of Jonesboro, Forest Park, Morrow, and Lovejoy.

There are 4 Democrats that have qualified to run during this election:
•Everton Blair Jr.
•Tony Brown
•Carlos Moore
•Marcye Scott

Voter Registration Deadline is June 29, 2026.

Advanced/Early Voting is scheduled for July 6 through July 20, 2026.

Election Day is July 28, 2026.

If needed, Runoff Election Date is scheduled August 25, 2026.
