It’s official … Quentin Anseth and Cleve Anseth, the father-son team, are the 2025 Big Loop Champions with a record setting time of 12.81! Jordan Valley couldn’t have better men representing the rodeo.

This is their third time winning the Big Loop … 2019, 2024 and again in 2025, and with each year, their times got faster!

Congratulations to the team that put together one heck of a run!!

The Big Loop Champions take home buckles and saddle certificates for $5,500.

*Quentin talks about coming to the rodeo as a kid and dreaming of the success he is now having.
*Quentin didn’t want to ride his new saddle in the performance on Saturday because there was a torrential downpour right up through the start of the rodeo.

The rodeo board has many purposes, but one thing the board holds dear is that the rodeo is meant to benefit the community of Jordan Valley. Through the years, many organizations have benefitted from the Jordan Valley Big Loop Rodeo. This year, the sophomore class is doing a raffle to raise money for Senior Trip. Pictured, you will see each Big Loop team is numbered. You can purchase a number for $50. At the end of the Big Loop this year, the winning team will be determined. At that time, half of the ticket sales will be paid out to the winner. First come, first served on the numbers. It is fun to have a team to cheer on and root for.

I apologize in advance for the spelling errors. We realize that some of the names are incorrectly spelled.

Also, you are buying a number. If your team changes partners or drops out, you will have the same number, no refund, but the replacement will be yours.

Furthermore, if the winning team, is not purchased, the second place team will get half the pot.
