Our mission: inspire confidence, foster personal growth, and create a platform for positive change. Miss Greater Kalamazoo is an open preliminary pageant for Miss Michigan and a local affiliate of the Miss America Organization. The Miss America Organization is the leading scholarship provider for young women, offering over $45,000,000 on the local, state and national level last year! As part of he

My girl, to be your first Miss was my greatest gift. I have loved all of the laughs, FaceTimes, silly jokes, and so many moments shared. I am so beyond proud of you. You set your sights on becoming Miss Monroe County’s Teen — and babe you got it! As much as cutting our year short feels like such a disservice, Monroe County is SO SO SO lucky to have you and I cannot wait to see all the good you do. I love you down girl. What an honor and a privilege it is to have shared my passions and months of preparation. I said “I just love being on stage” a million times this week, and not once was it to convince myself. I fell in love with the process again. The process of becoming a stronger advocate. A better performer. A more involved titleholder. A more devoted individual. And this week was just one opportunity to showcase the beautiful work I have the honor of doing as Miss Greater Kalamazoo. To our Miss Michigan, YOU’RE GOING TO MISS AMERICA! I’m so proud of you, and I cannot wait to see all the beautiful things you do in your year 🤍
