As part of exercise Noble Jaguar, 2d Battalion, 3d Marines conducts a long range insert over 1,000km via MV-22 Ospreys from VMM 262. After inserting personnel and vehicles with a vast array of capabilities, the Marines and Sailors immediately transition into a 15km foot infiltration.

Staff Sergeant Graham from Company G recently graduated from Career Course, achieving the Distinguished Graduate for Academic Excellence Award for the highest GPA in his class. His conference group also got a certificate of commendation for the most exemplary capstone project. Congratulations to Staff Sergeant Graham!

For this months Staff and Officer PT we did things a little differently! This past week the Staff NCO’s and Officers of 2/3 split into small teams and ran distances ranging from 4-8 miles around Camp Hansen, picking up trash along the way! Thank you for continuing to allow us to call this place home.
