🚒 Happy International Firefighters’ Day 🚒

Today, we take a moment to recognize and thank the dedicated men and women who serve our department and communities with courage, commitment, and heart.

Firefighting is more than just a job — it’s a calling. Whether it’s responding to emergencies at all hours, training to stay prepared, or serving the community in times of need, our firefighters consistently go above and beyond.

We are proud of every member of our department — past and present — and we appreciate the sacrifices you and your families make each and every day.

Thank you for your service, your bravery, and your unwavering dedication.

🔥 Stay safe, and thank a firefighter today. 🔥

🚨 Fire Department Advisory 🚨

Although our area is not currently under a burn ban, conditions remain high risk for fire spread due to increased wind speeds.

Our crews, along with neighboring fire departments across the county, have already responded to multiple fire incidents. These conditions can cause fires to spread quickly and become difficult to control.

🔥 Please use extreme caution when burning:
• Avoid burning during high winds
• Never leave a fire unattended
• Keep water or a hose nearby
• Ensure your fire is completely extinguished

If you see a fire that appears uncontrolled, report it immediately by calling 911.

Your cooperation helps keep our community, property, and responders safe. Stay alert and stay safe. 🚒

🚨 Tornado Watch Issued for Our Area 🚨

A tornado watch has been issued for our area. This means that conditions are favorable for tornadoes and severe storms to develop. Now is the time to stay alert and be prepared in case conditions worsen.

Please take a few moments to:
• Review your severe weather plan
• Identify the safest place in your home to take shelter (preferably an interior room on the lowest floor, away from windows)

If a tornado warning is issued, seek shelter immediately.

Our department will continue monitoring the weather and will provide updates if conditions change. Please stay weather aware and keep your phones charged in case emergency notifications are sent out.
