🚨 Hawai‘i National Guard Education Benefit Expansion Announcement 🚨
Starting 1 July 2026, the State Tuition Assistance Program (STAP) is expanding to provide even greater support for Soldiers pursuing higher education.
📚 What’s changing:
* Undergraduate degrees: 100% tuition coverage
* Graduate (Master’s) degrees: 50% tuition coverage
🎓 Eligibility:
✅ Be serving in the grade of E-1 through E-9, W-1 through W-5, or O-1 through O-3
✅ Be a Hawai‘i resident as defined by the University of Hawai‘i
✅ Remain a satisfactory participant in their unit
✅ Be an undergraduate student or incoming freshman within the University of Hawai‘i System
✅ If enlisted, have an ETS date that extends through the last day of the course for which tuition assistance is requested
✅ Have completed Advanced Individual Training (AIT)
